Our trip began with a speedy motor up the lake to lock #1. A beautiful hour ride reaching a wall outside the first lock. With hopes of a morning departure we prepared to get under way only to be told "albany" decided to have us wait another day due to high water levels.
We hope to depart tomorrow (10/12) and proceed through the locks hopefully reaching the entrance to the Erie Canal.
